Also, a licence to bottle Stella would be nice

I'll admit that most of my associations with Nikšić are positive: the 'ladna Trebjesa, some of the most interesting driving habits outside of Dorchester, the best Balkan beer this side of Laško (note to people who will reply to say that Slovenia is «not Balkan»: it is. And so is Italy — also only one good beer, Moretti. New Hampshire too — Smuttynose, if you were wondering). So if it turns out that the report is true that genocidaire Radovan Karadžić has moved his hiding place there, that could only interfere with everybody's enjoyment. So please yank him out of his treehouse and send him off. Then chill a nice Nikšićko pivo. Okay? Thanks.

Well, Moretti is not too bad. My best suggestion from Italy is to try some craft beers from Birrificio Lambrate in Milan (invitation is valid for Cicciosax too!)

I see I have another good reason to return to Italy soon! If I can separate myself from the shockingly good wine that is everywhere.

I like Karlovacko, that's my fiance's favorite beer, but frankly Sarajesko RULES as far as I'm concerned! I haven't had the chance to try Niksic yet. Maybe someday, I've heard it's good.
I like Italian beer, it's amazeingly good. I also like Italian wine, but again, Croatian wine is very good, and the other unknown good wine you never hear about is from the area around Mostar. That is some good wine. I have had it as a comercial product, and home made straight from the farm. of the two I prefer home made straight from the farm. The commercial product is a lot like a good white Rhine wine. Of course now the wine snobs are all laughing at me. Laugh if you must but give it a try!

It looks like I haven't succeeded in sparking the largest beer scandal. Credit has to go to Michael for that.
