Hodzic & Zelja vs. the Vegitarian threat

Some might have been following Richard Gere's adventures in the Balkans recently, trying to caputre Mladic etc. Now he has been the victim of the most foul kind:
As Fonet reports, "Gere becomes ill from the smell of cevapi" so what is done? The cevabdzinicas of Bascarsija had to be close for Richard Gere. Let's hope this is not a precedent and after smoking bans, there will be cevapi grilling bans haunting the Balkans.

Possibly so, Igor, but wouldn't you agree that the pairing of celebrity and cevap also has an eternal quality?

Hope Gere doens't blaim it on Buddhism, but, rather, sees it as a persoanl shortfalling indicative of his claim to being a real man. Have they tried the rakija test on him yet?

I think it was death threats that got him out of there, I'd've helped frankly, banning grilling in BiH or any other real country because some movie star can't take the delicious, lovely smell of cevapi! I don't think any real thinker needs to be told, this individual would FLUNK, totally FLUNK the rakija test!
Like I said, a spoiled wuss who needs to just go shave his head and live in a Buddhist monastery where he won't have to worry about smelling meat or being challenged to drink rakija or have to put up with other 'offensive' things of the real world.
P.S. is he on halcyon?

Thanks Eric for pointing out the eternal qualities of the time-- I am still trying to catch up with key Balkan events after moving to the UK... it just takes longer to filter through.

Yes you passed with flying colors! 100%
I passed at 100% at age 16, but it was an easier test than average because in my case my first rakija was maraschino rakija, and that is delicious! Back when Queen Elizebeth II still had her yacht, she used to send it to Zadar to pick up maraschino rakija by the case, and it is served to her family and guests.
So if you passed the rakija test that way you are in some interesting company. If your first taste was slivo or lozo home made from someone's farm, you are a lucky person! That is the best way to have rakija the first time!

Are you kidding me? The cevapi thing is a joke, right? According to my sources at the rumor mill, he was "too scared to stay in the area." http://www.topix.net/who/richard-gere?full=5c894ab49f.
