CNN rewriting Bosnian geography

Tonight's main news show on Bosnia's national broadcaster was all excited about CNN's weather site. BHTV had a story couple nights ago about CNN putting Sarajevo under "Yugoslavia," a country that no longer exists. In the meantime, CNN has fixed the site. The result is to the left.

many tv station, sites and also newspapers (paper edition) still haven´t discovered that Montenegro is independent...

they still put map without the border between serbia and montenegro...

in the case of my country, portugal, it is very usual that the maps in the weather forecasts for europe on TV do not show portugal at all. it disapears on the left side of the tv set. then they goive the temperatures only for madrid...
I gess that's what it means to be a periferical country.

When I went to BiH I had to convince my travel agent 1. That it was safe to go at all, 2. That her travel warnings for Yugoslavia, which then still existed, were still two years out of date. She wouldn't sell me my ticket the day I came in, I came back the next day with updated information for her, on paper my son printed it out for her. She was quite amazed to see what she didn't know! :)
I came back and told her what I found on the ground, so that she'd know if anyone ever bought a ticket again. I was the only customer she ever had that went there.

On a Tuzla website they showed a similar CNN guffaw; this one showing the city of Tuzla as apparently being in Croatia.
