For the record

2004 Presidential election returns in the town where I live:

Kerry (D): 21,065 79%
Bush (R): 5,202 20%
Cobb (G): 137 1%
Badnarik (L): 129 0%

So Bush has about as much support in Brookline as Mesić has in Hercegovina.

I think Manhattan was even stronger for Kerry though

It's all that vegetarian cuisine, goes to folks' heads....
I didn't mention that Cambridge was something like 85% for Kerry, but they had more support for the Libertarian guy too.
